This might just become a series on the blog because I am having the hardest time narrowing it down to ten. Each day I am so encouraged and inspired by different Mommas that I follow along on Instagram. There are many different ways this comes across, whether it is them posted the harder moments of motherhood through their words or images or perhaps sharing a fun activity that they had just accomplished with their children with a how to on the blog.
Many of these Mommas I have been able to build relationships with and am so pleased to call them my friends, and others I haven’t had the pleasure of building a personal friendship but I just adore their gorgeous feeds, ability to capture their audience, and daily honestly. This last week has killed me. Ya know, those weeks where you have a million things to do and hardly sleep. That was this last week for me. So it’s time for me to recenter and get some “r&r”. Ezra is being so cuddly this morning, looking into my eyes, then going in for a kiss with his newly found kissy face and saying “I tiss youuuuu, mama!” Kitty is getting her fair share of kisses too despite her absolute disinterest (but surprising tolerance). 😂❤️💕Ohhh… such a romantic, this one. When you become a parent I think you lose a part of yourself and gain another. The person you were and the person you become exist separately, you evolve. You can remember who you were, grab moments that remind you of life before kids, but you always return to the version you’ve become. Is it better? Harder? Crazier? All of the above??? I can’t imagine life without these two. But man motherhood is one crazy ride. After some much- needed ‘me time’ yesterday and a fun night surrounded by amazing ladies these two got today off to an interesting start. Ari is testing me at almost every turn, refusing to eat, sit on the potty, get dressed… everything feels like a battle. I know this time will pass and I’ll look back and miss them being this age, but today I’m putting on another pot of coffee and trying to remain patient. 10. Tamara // Discovering Parenthood
Little lovie slept in for me this morning. Today is my first day on my own with the two girls. My husband had to go in to the office. Say a prayer all goes well, and without tears.
