Van City Business Babes #mompreneurpanel Event

A few weeks ago I got to sit down with the super talented and driven lady behind Van City Business Babes. Danielle is such a pleasure to talk to. When Danielle mentioned that she was planning a Mompreneur Panel night I was so drawn into her vision and wanted to take part to help her make the event a success.

Yesterday I was able to attend Danielle’s successful event, and today I am so thrilled to share some photos I captured. Thank you to all the vendors, sponsors, and of course Danielle for planning such a stunning event at Sky Helicopters. It was such a pleasure to enjoy a relaxing afternoon chatting with so many like-minded, creative and talented woman.

The Mompreneur Panel event took place at Sky Helicopters. This venue is absolutely stunning!

Chic Fete put together this fabulous vendor table display, that shows off their golden chairs for party rentals and delicious treats from some of their favourite vendors to collaborate with. There ladies were such a joy to chat with and has such a beautiful vision.

Glitter and Spice set up her beautiful and trendy teething jewellery, selling out of her Oreo Teether. If you don’t know what I am talking about be sure to view it in her shop as they are such an incredible creation by Lorene.

Kristal Barrett is a lady of all talents, this mompreneur is a motivator, encourager, author and singer. Kristal is super inspiring and I am so excited that I am able to read and share more with you about this book ‘Sparkle’ in the coming weeks. Kristal was also one of the stunning ladies on the Mompreneul Panel.

Ellebox is a “premium monthly subscription service which bundles your choice of tampons and pads with hand curated comfort and wellness goods to make that time of the month a little more pleasant.” This is such a fabulous idea, and these ladies had such a beautiful table display.

Once upon a Tea Leaf made all of the guests super delicious tea-mosa’s. I loved the flavour! These ladies were a blast to chat with. They have a store front location in Maple Ridge that is without a doubt worth checking out.

Wanna Collection set up a table displaying a wide range of gorgeous jewellery. These ladies had a captivating collection that was such a pleasure to browse and admire.

The snack table for all the Mompreneur Event guests was super delicious with chocolate covered strawberries from Choco Fruit and adorable mini cupcakes by Panda Cakes.

We had the pleasure of hearing from three remarkable woman and mothers; Jamie Khau from Styling the Inside, Jessica Birak from Mint and Birch and Kristal Barrett from The Sparkle Project. These ladies answered some questions provided by host, Danielle, about their life adventures in business as mompreneurs. I was super inspired by their genuine personalities and truthful answers. One of my favourite quotes from the day was spoken by Jessica, “Be gentle on yourself, what success looks like to you may be totally different then what success looks like to sombody else.”
