New Podcast episode coming soon!
All the sudden I went from “I love the snow” and “Isn’t the snow so pretty” to “ok, it’s like really cold!” and “I am so over this.” You could say I went to bed one night and woke up wishing for spring. It really is coming up fast though, January is almost over and we are seeing some warmer days around here. I even busted out the flats this week. I’ll be sharing some items I’ve packed away and two ladies that I will be getting some style inspiration from for my Spring wardrobe.
The snow boots, scarfs, and mittens look like they won’t be getting much more action this season that’s for sure. For Vancouver, we did have a pretty prolonged cold stretch and they got some good use. I am happy to tuck those away until next year. My spring wardrobe is going to be focused on classics. Last spring I decided to go bright, get items that were “different” and expand my closet. Over it. This year, I am all about the classics, at least that’s my goal.
A lot of my style is adopted from my sister (Mauve Hair Design), she’s a pretty stylish chicka. I have also been getting a lot of inspiration from my friend Samantha over at The Family Jewels. Sam is classic and modern, she doesn’t venture much into colour, but it totally works. I don’t think I can say no to colour, but with both their style inspiration in mind I put together this classic look gearing up for spring.
