A Whimsical Wooded Soiree for Kids

Who doesn’t like the excuse to get together with their friends and have a party? With a couple of sweet treats, quilted blankets and a table in the woods this kid’s party was a memorable one for each little person involved.

With the combination of Creative Wife and Joyful Worker and children’s clothing apparel founder/desginer Little and Lively you get this whimsical party in the woods. Accents of fresh blooms and gold sprayed succulents make the sweet pastel treats pop with delight on the delicately styled wooden table.
The wooden table was arranged in the wooded area from a custom built (regular sized) table propped up by wooden crates to create the perfect table height for the little ones to eat, party and enjoy. Cushions were set out on custom made quilts, the soft velveteen vintage rose floral pillows were a favorite amongst the girls.

Lined along the wooden table and lace runner were pastel treats that the kids couldn’t keep their hands off of. Gorgeous oval shaped watercolour painted floral cookies stood out beside the pastel pink ombre cake centrepiece. Simple yet elegant and topped with wild flowers to tie in together with the wild flower and succulent mini bouquets as well as the handmade succulent dishes with a touch of gold.

It wouldn’t be one of our parties without the addition of our favorite gourmet marshmallows, this time two toned with a painted stroke of edible gold. Their sweet taste and pillowy soft touch are perfect for sweet treats for kids of all ages.

When the kids joined the party it was no surprise that their hands were instantly filled with their favorite sweet treats. They checked out their mini bouquets and admired the golden succulents as they admired the treat dishes and shared amongst themselves.
