Flying Mouse's Design Process

In this post I'm going to explain how I design my t-shirts.

I was thinking of doing a design based on a copy machine and I wanted to have something to interact with it. So I choose little magic elves!

I did some image research on copy machines and elves (smurfs to be exact).

I did the sketch and decided how many elves there would be on the design and where they would be.

Doing the Outline of the design…

I decide the color of the t-shirt before I decide the color of the design, this time I chose grey.

I add the colors and shades to the copy machine.

I colored the little elves with vibrant colors to make them pop-out on the design.

Now I do the final check-up, adding the last details and making sure all the shading, outline and colors are good to go.

And the design is done!

Flying Mouse 365 is the coming to life of Hon Lam’s (aka Flying Mouse) idea of doing one design per day for a full year! So that pretty much means that every week 7 new tees and hoodies are going to come out and will be available for sale until that week ends, so buy your favorites while you can because once the week is gone you probably won’t be able to get them anymore!
